About Pureform Pilates
Pureform Pilates studio was founded by Lindsay Davis-Hannibal in 2012. Lindsay comes from a ballet background, during which she fell in love with the art of Pilates - a passion she has been living and practicing since 2004. Through her love and dedication to the pilates method she opened a studio to teach and share the benefits of Pilates. The studio was located in the CBD of Cape Town for the past 8 years and has recently moved to Lindsay’s home in Kenridge, Northern Suburbs. Now, Pureform Pilates not only offers In Studio Pilates classes but also Live Online Pilates classes, with a Pre-Recorded Video Pilates library subscription launching soon.
The Studio Pilates classes are impactful, intimate equipment focused sessions; which include the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda chair and small apparatus. Even though the studio is equipment based, we believe that matwork is the basis of a strong practice and is incorporated into all classes. These classes can either be booked for private, semi-private or small group classes of 2 to 4 clients at a time.
We have recently added a Kids Pilates class to our offering at the studio, which has become a firm favourite for the littlies.
The Live Online Pilates classes are very popular for both our local and international clients, and are conducted via Zoom. Even with the appealing convenience of doing a pilates class in the comfort of your own space and place our Instructors pride themselves in maintaining a high standard of pilates whilst teaching online, and are therefore always keeping an eye on correct posture, form and execution of movement. For clients looking for a more upbeat class, we also have an Online Cardio Pilates class.
At Pureform Pilates we cater for all our clients needs and goals; be it beginner to intermediate, fitness and health, pregnancy, rehabilitation to overall well being, there is something for everyone. See what our clients say about and their experiences with Pureform Pilates.

Angela Price
Instructor
Angela lives and breaths exercise, fuelled by it's physical exhilaration, the discipline required and the mental wellbeing it provides. While studying Business Science and gaining honours in Marketing at UCT, she uncovered her two greatest passions - running & pilates.
She instantly fell in love with the controlled flow of movement, mental concentration and physical challenge pilates provides. She joined Pureform as a client in 2016, but soon her undeniable passion propelled her to further her knowledge and share this through teaching. Angela is currently completing her practical teaching hours and has trained in Pilates matwork & reformer under the guidance of Lindsay. She now joins the Pureform Pilates team as a part time instructor.
Angela aims to benefit her clients' practise by encouraging a greater self awareness of the body's alignment, improving core & overall strength, joint mobilisation through movement, while allowing for the stress relief and balance that the pilates principles bring to a busy and often frantic lifestyle.
When not at the studio Angela can be found working full time in Digital Marketing, taking photos or running along the Sea Point promenade in Cape Town.
